InstaVoice Wins First Prize in Social Media Category at New Jersey Technology Council’s Mobile Apps Forum

New Providence, NJ, Friday, 27^thJune, 2014: Kirusa, the leader in voice messaging and social media mobile apps in emerging markets, tied in first place for its texting and voicing app, InstaVoice, in the social media category of the NJTC Mobile Apps Forum, held today at Princeton University. The winners were selected by a panel of judges from some of the finest leading companies in New Jersey.

New Jersey Technology Council Mobile Apps Forum fosters innovation in the technological region by bringing together developers, entrepreneurs, market leaders, investors, and students to discuss strategic direction, showcase and share ideas, and connect with resources and partners.

This year, the NJTC Mobile Apps Forum received forty-one submissions in different categories including Enterprise Mobile Apps, Health/Wellness Apps, Mobile Commerce, Mobile Media, and Social Media. Submissions came from states throughout the region as well as from California, Ohio, and three foreign countries. This year’s forum, sponsored by AT&T, was the fourth year of the annual forum that brings together some of the best mobile app developers in the region.

During the Forum, held at Princeton University, Kirusa showcased its mobile app, InstaVoice, the first and only free voice messaging app that combines texting and voicing as well as visual voicemail and missed call alerts in one app. InstaVoice potency to connect users with all their contacts, including with those who do not have the app, and with those who do not have a data plan, was highlighted during the presentation. A demonstration was given of how InstaVoice users can send voice messages to non-InstaVoice users, who will immediately receive the message as a Voice SMS,.
