Jaime Robertson-Lavalle

Jaime Robertson-Lavalle has over 13 years of leadership experience in private equity investments, corporate development and operations. Most recently as Director of Strategic Investments for Intel Capital, Jaime and his team led investments and acquisitions in networking and IT infrastructure, software, value-added services, and security. The investment portfolio built the $500 million Intel Communications Fund, an equity fund for technology companies developing innovative networking and communications solutions.

Jaime Robertson-Lavalle has over 13 years of leadership experience in private equity investments, corporate development and operations. Most recently as Director of Strategic Investments for Intel Capital, Jaime and his team led investments and acquisitions in networking and IT infrastructure, software, value-added services, and security. Jaime joined Intel Capital in 1999 as part of Intel’s acquisition of Dialogic Corporation, where he was Vice President of Business Development and headed the company’s mergers, acquisitions and strategic investments activity. Prior to that Jaime started the company’s Latin American subsidiary, which he grew to the number one position in the region. Before joining Dialogic, Jaime held positions at Arthur D. Little, Exxon, and IBM. He received an MBA degree from Harvard University and an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Jaime is an Alumni Advisor for Harvard Business School, a member of the Harvard Club of New York City and Angelvine, formerly known as the Jersey Angels Network.

Femi Banigbe is a technology business leader with over 17 years industry experience. He is currently Managing Partner at Silver Rock Technology Services, a Startup business and technology consulting firm with focus on Mobile Broadband, Digital business, Revenue Assurance, Enterprise Security Management and general systems integration.

He is currently Managing Partner at Silver Rock Technology Services, a Startup business and technology consulting firm with focus on Mobile Broadband, Digital business, Revenue Assurance, Enterprise Security Management and general systems integration.
Prior to co-founding Silver Rock Technology Services, he was the immediate past Chief Operations Officer of Millicom Ghana Limited the Operator of the TIGO Network in Ghana where he was responsible for driving the overall operations strategy of the business in Ghana. He had also functioned as the Acting CEO for Millicom Ghana as well as the Chief Technical Officer for Millicom Ghana. Prior to joining Millicom Ghana, he was the Chief Technical Officer for Millicom Tanzania where he help drive the technology strategy of the business in the East African country. Earlier in his career, Femi had worked with Airtel Nigeria as the Director of Operations. He also worked with Ericsson, the world’s leading Telecommunication equipment and service provider for a couple years in several capacities; the last being the Network Support Group Manager for Access and Transport Networks.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria. He is product of Ericsson Management Development Program as well as a product of the Advance Management Program of London Business School. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Manchester Business School, United Kingdom.

Francis is an accomplished innovation professional who has traversed the worlds of Consulting, Banking, eBusiness and Telecoms in the last 23 years.
Francis is currently heading Classifieds and Franchise Business for the e-commerce division of Econet Wireless International, a privately held telecommunications group. He is also the founding partner of Tenth Code Media Limited, a technology media company in Nigeria.

Prior to co-founding Tenth Code Media Limited Nigeria, he was Vice President in charge of Value Added Services at Airtel Nigeria, COO of Spinlet, and CEO of ChamsSwitch Limited. As the founding Regional Manager, West Africa for Naspers, Francis was responsible for setting up OLX (formerly known as Dealfish) in Nigeria. Francis has also worked with Accenture and Oceanic Bank.
He holds a first degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Benin and two Masters’ degrees in Construction Management and Business Administration from the University of Lagos and Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University respectively. Francis is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) of Project Management Institute, USA and a member of the Product Development and Management Association (USA).
Zunaid Bulbulia
Zunaid Bulbulia has more than 22 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry and was one of the founding members of the MTN team. During his 20 years with MTN South Africa, he served as Financial Manager and in various General Manager positions, including General Manager of Subscriber Operations and Service Operations. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer of MTN South Africa in 2005 and Chief Executive Officer in May 2013.
Zunaid Bulbulia
Zunaid Bulbulia has more than 22 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry and was one of the founding members of the MTN team. During his 20 years with MTN South Africa, he served as Financial Manager and in various General Manager positions, including General Manager of Subscriber Operations and Service Operations. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer of MTN South Africa in 2005 and Chief Executive Officer in May 2013.
In August 2014 he was named Group Chief Operations Executive (GCEO) of MTN Group Limited. As CEO of MTN South Africa and GCEO for MTN Group, he was tasked with bolstering MTN’s competitive position in the various markets in which MTN operates. He left MTN Group in December 2015 to pursue various business opportunities.
Zunaid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com.), Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand. He also holds an Honours BCompt (CTA) from The University of South Africa. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Carlos Caceres has had a multifaceted career for over 12 years in telecom companies across Latin America, Africa, and Europe. He is currently the President of Markest, USA. Prior to this, he held positions in Caribbean and Central America region as CCO and COO of Digicel Group, and CEO of Digicel Haiti.

Prior to this, he held positions in Caribbean and Central America region as CCO and COO of Digicel Group, and CEO of Digicel Haiti. Before that he was the Director Prepaid for Florida, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands at Sprint. He has worked in Africa and Latin America for Millicom in many positions such as CEO and COO of Tigo Ghana, CCO of Tigo Senegal, Regional Go-to-market manager for Latam, and marketing positions in Tigo Paraguay.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois and BA Degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Kansas. He has also attended the GMP program at Harvard Business School.
